Man Admits to Swindling Women in Online Dating Scam

John Edward Taylor, a 47 year old New Yorker, pleaded guilty in his seven year scheme. He stole money from women on various dating sites including; Match.com, eHarmony and Craiglist. Most often he would claim to be an oil tycoon from North Dakota.

When victims would confront him about the thefts, he would threaten to send 'private' photos to the victims employer.

Taylor is facing thirty years in prison and his sentencing is January 4th, 2018.
