Been Scammed? Don't Feel Stupid, You're Not Alone.
Among romance scam victims, there tends to be this secrecy and desire to keep things hush-hush. The real number of romance scam victims is unknown. But we do know that many do not come forward or even report the crimes against them to law enforcement.
Victims tend to hide what has happened to them, embarrassed of what occurred. Even worse, they are afraid that if they tell anyone those people will then view them as 'stupid' or 'gullible'.
But, reporting these crimes and victims coming forward with their stories may be the key to stopping these scammers once and for all.
