F.B.I has Secret Weapon in Fight Against Scammers
Even though romance scams continue to rise, the FBI has a secret weapon and she is victim specialist Debbie Deem. Deem has been with the FBI for 15 years and is a trained social worker. She helps victims by ensuring they are treated with respect during the investigative process, refers services, and gives them updates on their case. Just by listening to victims, Deem is making an impact.
Even though Deem isnt out in the field kicking down doors and arresting scammers, she is doing her part to help victims on their road to recovery.
